The Listing Analytics section reports visits to your public listing page on homecoin.com. It helps you understand activity on that page, but it is not a combined report from the MLS and every website displaying your listing.
What the Analytics dashboard shows
- Visitors: The estimated number of visitors recorded on your public homecoin listing page during the selected period. Analytics does not identify those visitors by name, email address, or contact information.
- Pageviews: The number of times the public homecoin listing page was viewed or reloaded. One visitor can create more than one pageview.
- Average time: An approximate measure of how long recorded visitors spent on the page. It does not prove that someone read every part of the listing.
- Traffic over time: The chart shows how visitors, pageviews, or time changed across the displayed date range.
- Traffic sources: When referral information is available, the dashboard shows where a visit to the homecoin page came from, such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, or another website. Direct / None means no usable referral source was provided. The person may have typed the address, used a bookmark or shared link, or arrived from an app or browser that did not pass that information.
The dashboard overview shows the most recent 30 days. For an MLS or FSBO listing, open the listing's Sharing & Analytics area to view additional date ranges and a more detailed source breakdown.
What the Analytics dashboard does not show
The dashboard does not import or combine activity that occurs only on other websites. This means it does not include:
- view counts reported by the MLS;
- views on Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, brokerage websites, agent websites, or other listing portals;
- saves, favorites, search impressions, or other actions taken only on those outside sites;
- the names, email addresses, or contact information of people who viewed your listing;
- phone calls, text messages, email inquiries, showing requests, or offers; or
- visits to your private homecoin dashboard or listing-editing pages.
What if someone comes from another website?
If someone follows a link from another website to your public homecoin listing page, that homecoin page visit will normally be counted in Analytics. The other website may appear as the traffic source when referral information is available.
Simply viewing your listing on Zillow, Realtor.com, the MLS, or another portal does not create a homecoin Analytics pageview.
Why the numbers may be different
Each website measures its own traffic and may define visitors and views differently. Browser privacy settings and other technical limits can also prevent some visits or referral sources from being recorded. For these reasons, homecoin Analytics should be treated as an approximate report of activity on your public homecoin listing page, not as the total audience for your listing everywhere online.
Analytics data may take a short time to appear after a visit. If your public homecoin listing page is not live yet, there will be no listing-page activity to report.
