How to get a reset link.

You can click here to go directly to the password reset page.

Enter the email address connected to your homecoin account, then click Send Password Reset Link. The email may take a few minutes to arrive.

The reset link expires after 60 minutes and can only be used once.

“This password reset token is invalid”

If you receive this error, one of the following issues is occurring:

• The reset link has already been used.
• More than one password reset was requested, and an older link is being used. You must use the link in the most recent email.
• The reset link is more than 60 minutes old.

Wait a moment, then submit one new request from the password reset page. Wait for the newest email to arrive before opening the link. Requesting another reset email makes the links in earlier emails invalid.

I did not receive the reset email.

First, check your spam or junk folder and confirm that you entered the email address connected to your homecoin account.

If you requested more than one reset email, wait for the newest email and use only that link.

If you normally sign in with Apple, Google, or Microsoft and have never created a homecoin password, homecoin will not send a password reset email. Sign in using the same Apple, Google, or Microsoft button instead.

If you received an invitation from homecoin to set up your account, use the link in the most recent invitation email. The Forgot Password page cannot complete first-time account setup.

NOTE: If you accidentally reported a homecoin email as spam, our email provider may stop sending messages to your address as a safety precaution. Contact homecoin support so we can check whether the address is blocked.

I sign in with Apple, Google, or Microsoft.

You do not need a homecoin password to continue signing in with your linked Apple, Google, or Microsoft account.

If you would also like to sign in with a homecoin password, sign in with your linked account and go to Account Settings. Under Sign-in Methods, click Create a homecoin password and follow the instructions.

The Forgot Password page cannot create your first homecoin password if you have only used Apple, Google, or Microsoft to sign in.

If you are not sure how you signed in, try the email-and-password form. If sign-in fails, select Get sign-in help. A failed sign-in alone does not send an email.

homecoin shows the same confirmation for every email. If an eligible account exists, the private email explains whether to use Apple, Google, Microsoft, password recovery, or the newest account invitation. If another message does not arrive right away, use the newest email you already received or wait at least 10 minutes before requesting help again.

I received an account invitation.

Use the link in the most recent invitation email to finish setting up your account. Account invitation links expire after seven days.

If the invitation expired, ask the person who invited you or homecoin support to send a new invitation. A standard password reset does not replace or complete an account invitation.

Reset your password through the sign-in page.

You can also reset your password by going to the sign-in page and clicking Forgot password?

After you successfully reset your password, sign in with the new password. For security, other homecoin sessions in web browsers will be signed out.
