Electronic consent lets you receive, review, and sign homecoin records online. Accepting electronic consent does not sign a listing agreement or any other document.
When do I accept electronic consent?
If you create a new homecoin account, you will be asked to accept the E-Sign Consent and Electronic Records Delivery disclosure during account setup. If someone invites you to a transaction and you need to finish setting up a new account, you will accept it during activation.
You can review the disclosure before accepting it. Only you can accept or withdraw electronic consent for your account.
Does accepting electronic consent sign my documents?
No. Electronic consent allows homecoin to provide records and signatures electronically. It does not sign a document for you.
Every document requires a separate action from you to show that you intend to sign that specific document. You will have a chance to review the document before you sign it.
What happens if I withdraw electronic consent?
You can withdraw electronic consent in your Account Settings. After you withdraw:
- You cannot add new electronic signatures or start new electronic MLS listing changes.
- You can still sign in, view and download available records, access documents you signed earlier, and remove a signature when that option is otherwise available.
- Your listing is not automatically cancelled, and homecoin does not automatically change your property, listing, draft, order, or listing status.
Withdrawing consent opens a support request. The homecoin support team will contact you about any listing that has not closed and explain any cancellation or next steps that may apply. For some listing statuses, such as pending or contingent, later changes may need to be submitted in writing through a nationally recognized overnight delivery service. Support will provide the correct address and instructions.
We will also email you to confirm the withdrawal. If you did not request it, contact support@homecoin.com.
How do I restore electronic signing?
You can accept electronic consent again in Account Settings or when homecoin asks you to do so before signing. Reaccepting restores your ability to sign future documents electronically.
Reaccepting does not automatically close an open support request or reverse an action that support has already taken. Contact support if you need help with an existing request. We will email you to confirm that electronic consent has been restored.
What happens to documents I already signed?
Withdrawing consent does not erase earlier signatures or signed records. homecoin keeps those records for at least as long as applicable state law requires. You can download and print available electronic records at no charge.
Can I request paper copies?
Yes. Email support@homecoin.com to request paper copies. Asking for paper copies does not withdraw your electronic consent.
The current paper-copy fee is $40 in 2026. The fee may change annually beginning in 2027. We will tell you the current fee before fulfilling your request.
What if I have an older homecoin account?
If you already control an older account with a permanent password, a linked social sign-in, or a temporary credential issued to you, you can generally continue signing even if the account was created before homecoin began recording electronic-consent decisions. You will not be required to accept again only because an older consent record is missing.
If you later withdraw consent, new electronic signing will be blocked until you accept again. A newly invited user who has not finished setting up an account must accept electronic consent during activation.
