How do I add an owner or change an existing owner's information?
Use People & Roles to add an owner or authorized signer, or to update an existing owner's property information.
- Go to the homecoin dashboard and open the property.
- Select Update from the property menu.
- Open People & Roles.
- Select Add Person to add an Owner or Authorized Signer, or select Edit for an existing owner.
- Make the change, then select Update Property.
Owner requirements
- Add each owner separately using their own email address.
- You may list up to four Owners, Authorized Signers, or Buyers in total. Agents and Admins do not count toward this limit.
- Owners and Authorized Signers must provide a personal phone number for the property. This number is private, is used by homecoin to contact the owner and help verify ownership, and is not used as the public listing contact number.
Owner account access
An established homecoin account's sign-in email cannot be changed in this form. For an eligible secondary owner, use Replace email/account to attach the correct account to the property without changing or deleting the old account.
When a newly added owner needs account access, homecoin sends a private account-setup invitation after the property is updated. The invitation expires after seven days. An owner who already has account access can continue using their existing homecoin password or linked Apple, Google, or Microsoft account.
Signed or submitted MLS listings
If the MLS listing documents have already been signed, owner or signer information cannot be changed until all signatures are rescinded. Select Rescind all signatures in the warning, or return to the listing's Sign step.
After the MLS listing has been submitted, People & Roles is read-only in Update Property.
