MLS Watermarks / Logos on Photos

Nearly all MLSs will place watermarks/logos on photos that are submitted for listings. This is something that we cannot control, unfortunately. The MLSs reasoning for placing their logo on the photos often is stated as an attempt to deter theft of the photos for use on a different listing or on a fraudulent "For Rent" listing.

The MLS logos are very large on the photos, why is that?

If the photos are low resolution, the MLS logos will often appear larger than they would otherwise appear on higher resolution photos. We recommend getting as high quality photos as possible to minimize the MLSs logo size on your photos.
