Can I Disable the Estimated Value of my Home (e.g. Zestimate, Redfin Estimate, etc) on Websites?
For some websites, yes. When you are filling out your MLS Listing, there is a field that is called "AVM" (or similar). This AVM field is meant to signal to websites whether or not you want them to display their value estimate for the home. Note that not all websites will honor this field. Below is how some popular websites will respond to seeing this field in the MLS listing feed to their websites:
Zillow
- Honors AVM field? No
Redfin
- Honors AVM field? Yes
Realtor.com
- Honors AVM field? No
Note that if you have already activated your MLS listing, you can submit an MLS Listing change to update your listing.
