Cancelling Your MLS Listing

Can I cancel my MLS listing at any time?

Yes, as long as you have not accepted an offer and have rejected all outstanding offers. Different requirements apply when a listing is pending, contingent, under contract, or in a similar status; see the written-delivery guidance below and your listing agreement.

Is there a cost for cancelling my MLS listing?

No, there is no cost for cancelling your MLS listing.

What is the difference between cancelling and withdrawing?

How do I cancel my MLS listing?

Log in to your homecoin account, then:

1. Find your property on the dashboard and select Manage Listing. The screenshot below shows the prior Request Changes label for the same workflow. 
   
   
    
2. In MLS Listing Change - Step 1 of 2, select Status and choose the cancellation status from the list.
3. Select MLS Listing Change Step 2, review the change summary, and complete every required signature authorization.
4. Select Submit Change. homecoin will not receive the cancellation request until you submit it in Step 2.

Important: Making a cancellation request is a two-step process. Step 1 creates the change; Step 2 signs and submits it.

Does withdrawing electronic consent cancel my MLS listing?

No. Withdrawing electronic consent does not cancel or withdraw an MLS listing. It does not automatically change any property, listing, draft, order, or MLS status.

An electronic-consent withdrawal opens a support workflow so homecoin can contact you about affected listings. Until consent is personally restored, the account cannot add a new electronic signature or create a new electronic MLS change request. Restoring electronic consent enables future electronic signing, but does not itself cancel a listing or reverse any action support has already completed.

For a pending, contingent, under-contract, or similar listing affected by the withdrawal, changes must be received in writing using a nationally recognized overnight delivery service.

Electronic-consent withdrawal is also different from placing an MLS listing in the Withdrawn status. Use the cancellation steps above when you want homecoin to submit a cancellation request to the MLS.
