This document is required when a property is tenant-occupied and the owner wants to market it for sale or lease. It gives the tenant written permission to allow interior/exterior photos or video of the property and to permit open houses for prospective buyers or tenants. This form should be signed by the seller and tenants before marketing activities before photos, videos, or open houses occur.
The tenant must receive at least 24 hours’ advance notice before photos or video are taken so they can remove personal belongings or identify items they do not want shown. For open houses, tenant can approve specific dates, or if no dates are listed, the owner, property manager, or brokerage must give at least 3 days’ advance notice before any scheduled open house.
