Missouri law requires that farm and vacant lot/land sellers disclose certain information in the sale of the property. The information includes, but is not limited to, adverse material facts, environmental hazards, and defects.
The Missouri REALTORS® provides a standard form "Farm or Vacant Land or Lot Disclosure Statement" (also known by it's form ID of DSC-8020) which aids sellers in satisfying this disclosure requirement.
There are 4 riders (noted below) which may be appropriate to attach to the Disclosure Statement:
- Missouri Water Well/Sewage System Disclosure Rider
- Missouri Lakes & Ponds/Waterfront Property Disclosure Rider
- Missouri Condo/Co-Op/Shared Cost Development Disclosure Rider
- Missouri Pool/Hot Tub Disclosure Rider
