The Rhode Island Vacant Land Disclosure is a required form that sellers use when selling undeveloped or unimproved property to provide buyers with important information about the land. It asks sellers to disclose known details about zoning, access, utilities, wetlands, environmental conditions, easements, restrictions, and any other issues that may affect how the land can be used or developed. The purpose of this disclosure is to help buyers understand potential limitations, costs, or risks before purchasing the property. This form is required under Rhode Island General Laws Section 5-20.8-2, which requires sellers to provide written disclosure of known deficient conditions before a purchase agreement is signed.
