Under the Massachusetts Home Inspector Law, real estate licensees—or the seller, if no licensee is involved—must give the buyer the Home Inspectors Consumer Fact Sheet at the time the first written contract to purchase is signed.
The Home Inspectors Consumer Fact Sheet is published by the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation (OCABR) and is intended to inform buyers about the importance of home inspections and how to choose a licensed inspector.
Home Inspectors Consumer Fact Sheets in the following languages: English, Chinese, French, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish can be found here.
How Can I get a Copy of the "Massachusetts Home Inspectors Consumer Fact Sheet" Form?
We will provide you a copy of any Massachusetts disclosure form for free upon submitting a flat fee MLS listing through our website. We charge a one-time fee of $95 to list your home on the MLS.
