Per NRS 118B.170, a potential buyer of a property in a manufactured home park must be informed that they might need the park landlord's approval to become a tenant if they plan to keep the home in the park. After the disclosure, the responsibility is on the buyer to apply directly to the park management for a lease before they finalize buying the home. Once the buyer submits a complete application, the landlord has 10 days to approve or deny them.
Is There a Specific Form That I Need to Supply To a Potential Buyer?
No. Nevada does not require this disclosure to be made on a state-issued form. However, it is strongly recommended that you provide any disclosures in writing or by email so you have a clear record that the disclosure was made.
