When you fill out your MLS listing with homecoin, you will be asked if you want your listing passed to the internet. If you choose to pass your listing to the internet, it will be displayed on websites such as Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, and many more. These websites pull their information directly from the MLS.
The MLS has many rules on listing photos and descriptions, however, some of the rules do not apply to these websites. homecoin can make some changes to websites, but only Zillow, Realtor.com and Redfin.
What can be directly edited on Zillow, Realtor.com and Redfin
The information that homecoin can change on your listing is limited and varies between the websites.

IMPORTANT: Zillow has recently transitioned to becoming a real estate broker and is now receiving a different data feed from the MLS'. Due to this, in many cases we are no longer able to directly edit the fields shown below on Zillow.

How to edit these sites
To add information to a website that is not allowed on the MLS, submit an MLS Listing change. In the MLS Listing change form, check the “Other” checkbox and explain what change you want made in the text field.
When there is something wrong specific to only one website and the MLS is correct, please send us a support ticket. Explain your issue and what website it is on. We will contact the website directly - the website response time can be anywhere between 1 day to 2 weeks.
